Exploring large language models for persona construction: a case study in educational ergonomics
This study investigates the potential of large language models (LLMs), specifically ChatGPT 4o, to support the creation of data-driven personas using a real-world dataset on ergonomic awareness among educators in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The proposed workflow combined automated data cleaning, clustering using k-prototypes algorithm, statistical testing, and narrative persona generation. Three distinct educator profiles were identified, each differing in age, teaching status, teaching experience, and musculoskeletal discomfort. These personas highlight relevant risk factors and opportunities for targeted ergonomic interventions in educational settings. The process demonstrated that LLMs can lower the technical barriers typically associated with quantitative methods and narrative construction, making persona development more accessible in low-resource environments. Although the dataset was limited in size and depth, and expert validation of statistical procedures was not performed, the approach proved feasible and reproducible. The study suggests that combining clustering algorithms with LLM-supported interpretation can bridge analytical rigor and human-centered storytelling. This hybrid method holds promise for design researchers and practitioners seeking scalable, interpretable, and empathetic tools for understanding user groups in small organizations and businesses. It also opens new directions for applying generative AI in occupational health, education and information design contexts where data interpretation and stakeholder communication are essential.

USEFUL REFERENCES FOR THE DESIGN OF MAKERSPACES BASED ON HUMAN FACTORS
This article presents useful references and guidelines for the design and planning of maker spaces, focusing on human factors and universal design principles, aiming to support architects and design teams. A maker space is conceived as an environment for creation, co-creation, development, and experimentation, where creativity and innovation are the main resources. The maker movement, driven by the "do it yourself" culture and technologies such as 3D printing, has transformed work and teaching-learning structures, but many of these spaces still face ergonomic challenges, resulting in risks of injuries, discomfort, and fatigue due to inadequate postures, poor furniture, and insufficient lighting (silva et al., 2020). The central problem of this study lies, therefore, in the lack of specific ergonomic indications for these environments. The analysis carried out considers several aspects, including the types of practical activities developed, the equipment used (such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and robotics kits), and the physical environment conditions, covering criteria such as general and localized lighting, ventilation, noise control (ideally below 70 dB), and ambient temperature (recommended around 23°C). Through a non-systematic literature review, the general objective was to survey and consolidate guidelines that improve interactions between users, equipment, and the work environment. The recommendations cover physical (table height and layout, controls and handling), cognitive, and organizational ergonomics, in addition to the application of the seven principles of universal design (equitable use, flexible use, simple and intuitive use, perceptible information, tolerance for error, low physical effort, and size and space for approach and use), thus promoting greater safety, comfort, well-being, and productivity for maker space attendees.

HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTION AND COGNITIVE ERGONOMICS: ERGONOMIC ANALYSIS OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE LABOR INCLUSION OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
This study aims to ergonomically analyze human-computer interaction during the use of a functional version under development of a digital application based on Ergocapability. This study analyzes the Protocol®, used by professional evaluators in the context of the labor market inclusion of people with disabilities. The aim is to understand how the interface and organization of information influence task execution, especially in terms of cognitive load, visual attention direction, and activity flow, without evaluating the protocol's effectiveness as a diagnostic tool. The research is characterized as applied, exploratory, and descriptive in nature, with a mixed-methods approach (qualitative and quantitative), and was conducted through usability tests associated with eye tracking. Five professional evaluators participated in a controlled experimental environment. The results indicated that the interface offers functional support to the main stages of the evaluative activity and adequately directs the users' visual attention, evidenced by the 10.9% difference between the task execution times performed by the participants and the reference time of the standard user, as well as by the consistency of the observed navigation patterns. However, the ergonomic analysis of the interaction revealed limitations related to cognitive ergonomics, especially regarding information organization, the need for prolonged scrolling, and recurrent access to explanatory captions—factors that can increase cognitive load and compromise the fluidity of the activity. It is concluded that the ergonomic evaluation of human-computer interaction contributes to the improvement of digital solutions applied to Assistive Technology, highlighting the importance of interfaces designed based on the analysis of real work activity. The findings reinforce that the digitization of complex instruments should be accompanied by systematic ergonomic evaluations to ensure greater suitability of the system to users and the professional context.

Service Design and Mental Health: a bibliometric analysis using the ProKnow-C method
The aim of this research is to analyze publications on the topic of Service Design and Mental Health, as addressed in the scientific community through the Knowledge Development Process – Constructivist (ProKnow-C) method, in order to identify trends, recurring themes, relevant authors, and potential gaps in the literature. The methodology involved the selection of scientific articles from the Scopus and Web of Science databases, applying thematic alignment and academic impact criteria. From an initial set of 2,458 articles, 27 comprised the final portfolio. The results highlighted the predominance of publications with low visibility, with 21 articles having fewer than 100 citations, although five articles stood out for their higher scientific recognition. Authors such as Lia Patrício and Jane Farmer emerged as key references, with a focus on terms such as Service Design, Co-design, and Primary Health Care. The journals PLoS One and Psychiatric Services were identified as the most relevant. It is concluded that the field is still in a consolidation phase, requiring further theoretical and practical development, especially regarding participatory approaches and the integration of technologies. The study suggests a systematic analysis of the selected content and the formulation of future research questions to explore the identified gaps.

Application of Computational Simulation for Occupational Safety Assessment in a Psychiatric Hospital
Psychiatric hospitals present occupational hazards, with patients’ unexpected behaviors constituting a unique factor that makes the safety climate crucial for preventing injuries and ensuring a healthy work environment. In this context, this study analyzed occupational injuries and safety conditions in a psychiatric hospital in southern Brazil, employing system dynamics (SD)-based computational simulation as a decision-support tool. The study was carried out in five stages: definition of the case study; collection and descriptive analysis of injury data; development of safety indicators; SD modeling and simulation; and model validation through sensitivity analysis. The simulation results indicated that: (i) a 10% increase in personal protective equipment (PPE) usage reduced perceived risk to 76.48%; (ii) a 25% increase in patients’ unexpected behaviors resulted in six additional injuries; and (iii) standardizing 50% of activities could prevent seven injuries per year. The findings suggest that computational simulation enhances analytical capacity and demonstrate that the safety climate is directly influenced by mitigating occupational risks, implementing standardized internal procedures, training personnel, and establishing effective safety indicators.
