An Optimal Algorithm for Resource Allocation in D2D Communication
The number of mobile devices accessing wireless networks is skyrocketing due to the rapid advancement of sensors and wireless communication technology. In the upcoming years, it is anticipated that mobile data traffic would rise even more. The development of a new cellular network paradigm is being driven by the Internet of Things, smart homes, and more sophisticated applications with greater data rates and latency requirements. Resources are being used up quickly due to the steady growth of smartphone devices and multimedia apps. Computation offloading to either several distant clouds or close mobile devices has consistently improved the performance of mobile devices. The computation latency can also be decreased by offloading computing duties to edge servers with a specific level of computing power. Device-to-device (D2D) collaboration can assist in processing small-scale activities that are time-sensitive in order to further reduce task delays. The task offloading performance is drastically reduced due to the variation of different performance capabilities of edge nodes. Therefore, this paper addressed this problem and proposed a new method for D2D communication. In this method, the time delay is reduced by enabling the edge nodes to exchange data samples. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has better performance than traditional algorithm.

An Efficient Method for Heat Recovery Process and燭emperature燨ptimization
Flue gas heat loss accounts for a significant component of the overall heat loss for coal-fired boilers in power plants. The flue gas absorbs more heat as the exhaust gas temperature rises, which reduces boiler efficiency and raises coal consumption. Additionally, if the exhaust gas temperature is too high, a lot of water must be used to cool the flue gas for the wet flue gas desulfurization system to function well, which has an impact on the power plant’s ability to operate profitably. It is consequently vital to take steps to lower exhaust gas temperatures in order to increase boiler efficiency and decrease the amount of coal and water used. Desulfurization performance may be enhanced and water use can be decreased by reasonable flue gas characteristics at the entry. This study analyzed the unit’s energy consumption, investment, and coal savings while proposing four coupling strategies for regulating flue gas temperature and waste heat recovery. A graded flue gas conditioning and waste heat recovery plan was presented under the condition of ensuring high desulfurization efficiency, along with the notion of minimizing energy loss owing to energy inflow temperature difference. Numerical results show that the proposed methods improved the system performance and reduced the water consumption and regulated the boiler temperature.

Smart internet of things kindergarten garbage observation system using Arduino uno
Increase the in population and kindergarten number, especially in urban areas made it difficult to properly manage waste. Thus, this paper proposed a system dedicated to kindergartens to manage to dispose of waste, the system can be called smart garbage based on internet of things (SGI). To ensure a healthy environment and an intelligent waste in the kindergarten management system in an integrated manner and supported by the internet of things (IoT), we presented it in detail identification, the SGI system includes details like a display system, an automatic lid system, and a communication system. This system supplied capabilities to monitor the status of waste continuously and on IoT website can show the percentage of waste placed inside the bin. And by using a Wi-Fi communication system, between the system unit and the monitoring body, to collect waste when the trash is full. The smart system proposed in this paper is the most efficient system of traditional waste management systems because it reduces the use of manpower and significantly limits the spread of waste and fully controls it. Additionally, it can be linked via the IoT to the mobile, thus forming an integrated monitoring system.

Effect of Practice Environment on Nurse Reported Quality and Patient Safety: The Mediation Role of Person-Centeredness
This study aims to explore the potential mediation role of person-centeredness between the effects of the work environment and nurse reported quality and patient safety. A quantitative cross-sectional survey collected data from 1055 nurses, working in medical and surgical units, in twelve Malaysian private hospitals. The data collection used structured questionnaires. The Hayes macro explored the mediation effect of person-centeredness between the associations of work environment dimensions and care outcomes, controlling nurses’ demographics and practice characteristics. A total of 652 nurses responded completely to the survey (61.8% response rate). About 47.7% of nurses worked 7-h shifts, and 37.0% were assigned more than 15 patients. Higher workload was associated with unfavorable outcomes. Nurses working in 12-h shifts reported a lower work environment rating (3.46 ± 0.41, p < 0.01) and person-centered care (3.55 ± 0.35, p < 0.01). Nurses assigned to more than 15 patients were less likely to report a favorable practice environment (3.53 ± 0.41, p < 0.05), perceived lower person-centered care (3.61 ± 0.36, p < 0.01), and rated lower patient safety (3.54 ± 0.62, p < 0.05). Person-centeredness mediates the effect of nurse work environment dimensions on quality and patient safety. Medical and surgical nurses, working in a healthy environment, had a high level of person-centeredness, which, in turn, positively affected the reported outcomes. The function of person-centeredness was to complement the effects of the nurse work environment on care outcomes. Improving the nurse work environment (task-oriented) with a high level of person-centeredness (patient-oriented) was a mechanism through which future initiatives could improve nursing care and prevent patient harm.

The Role of Accounting Information System and Knowledge Management to Enhancing Organizational Performance in Iraqi SMEs
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Iraq have experienced low performance due to the limited usage of accounting information systems (AIS) and the inability to exploit knowledge of management capabilities (KMC). These deficiencies have led to competitive pressures in the marketplace that have adversely affected their sales and production. This study investigates the role of AIS in terms of operation support, knowledge support, regulatory support, and the role of KMC, including knowledge acquisition, knowledge transfer, and knowledge utilized to enhance organizational performance in Iraqi SMEs. The target population was managers and owners in SMEs using AIS in Iraq’s cities. A non-probability purposive sampling technique was used to collect the data, and self-administered printed questionnaires were distributed to the SME managers and owners; 236 questionnaires were used for analysis. Partial least squares was used to examine the role of AIS and the meditation of KMC through second-order analysis. The results showed that AIS and KMC have a positive and significant role in enhancing organizational performance. The study also found that KMC partially mediated between AIS and organizational performance. The findings show that managers and owners of SMEs should focus on AIS and pay more attention to KMC to improve organizational performance.

Health Information Exchange: Current Trends, Challenges and Recommendations
Health information exchange (HIE) promises substantial benefits for healthcare professionals and providers but whether it will become widespread and when, if it does so, are unknown. The growing use of information technology has led to the widespread adoption of HIE. Large hospitals and healthcare systems have been at the forefront of implementing HIE, while little is known about the state of adoption and challenges in the implementation of HIE during the adoption. This paper aims to review previous models and frameworks to provide a comprehensive literature study about the challenges and barriers in adopting HIE and provide recommendations that will contribute to the resolution of these issues in large hospitals. A literature review was conducted and identified the issues, challenges and recommendations of HIE adopting. The review gathered documents systematically from different search engines includes Scopus, ScienceDirect, PubMed, Biomed, ACM Digital library and WorldCat. The findings reveal eight factors to be considered as challenges before the adoption take place. Three main recommendations: the use of IT innovations, integration of electronic health records system and increase system capacity are suggested. The recommendations and challenges are highlighted and may foster and promote HIE adoption within country and at international levels.
