Sentiment Mining in E-Commerce
Sentiment analysis is crucial for comprehending customer feedback and enhancing workplace culture, as well as improving products and services. By employing natural language processing (NLP) techniques to meticulously analyze this feedback, organizations can identify specific areas that require improvement, address employee issues, and cultivate a positive work environment. These deep learning models powered by NLP offer invaluable tools for HR and sales departments in the e-commerce sector, enabling them to track sentiment trends among employees and users over time and implement targeted interventions. Focusing on the e-commerce industry, this study employs NLP-driven deep learning methodologies to analyze both employee and user feedback, with the objective of identifying underlying sentiments. The proposed framework leverages these advanced techniques to categorize user feedback into positive, negative, or neutral sentiments. This approach aims to develop a robust and effective system for sentiment analysis, providing significant insights that can help drive organizational improvements and enhance customer satisfaction. The key steps of this framework include data collection, NLP-enhanced feature extraction, sentiment detection, and final classification using finite-state automata. The effectiveness of this NLP-centric approach was tested on diverse datasets of customer feedback collected from an e-commerce industry. Evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, and recall were utilized to assess the performance of the system. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework, achieving a 93.75% accuracy rate and surpassing existing benchmark methods. The outcomes of this study are particularly consequential for the e-commerce sector, offering them a strategic advantage in refining their product portfolios and cultivating a more dynamic workplace culture

An Artificial Intelligence Framework for Disease Detection in Potato Plants
Agricultural products are a fundamental necessity for every country. When plants are afflicted with diseases, it influences the country's agricultural productivity, as well as its economic resources. Diseases are an important problem for potato plants, causing potatoes to be rejected and resulting in financial losses. Viruses and diseases in potatoes and field plants can be missed with the naked eye, particularly in the early stages of cultivation. The use of modern instruments and technology at an early stage of disease diagnosis dramatically reduces costs. This study used deep learning techniques to categorize and detect plant leaf diseases in photos taken from the Plant Village dataset. The dataset consists of 20,636 photos of plants and their diseases. This study focused on potato plants because it is the most common type of plant in the world, particularly in Pakistan. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) methods were used to categorize plant leaf diseases into 15 classes, including three classes for healthy leaves and classes for several plant diseases such as fungal and bacterial infections, among others. The proposed models were trained and tested, achieving 98.29 and 98.029% accuracy, respectively.

Online social transparency in enterprise information systems: a risk assessment method
Teleworking refers to the utilization of information and communication technologies for work done outside the workplace. The Covid-19 crisis led to increased utilisation of social networking tools within enterprises, especially when working remotely. The aim of their use is often to improve situational awareness, coordination, and collaboration amongst employees. Online social transparency, typically done through social networks or enterprise social software, refers to the voluntary sharing of personal and contextual information such as those relating to their own and team status, intentions, motivation, capabilities, goal priorities besides updates on the physical and social context, with other colleagues. An ad-hoc practice of social transparency can introduce risks such as information overload, social loafing and peer pressure. Despite recognising its adverse effects, there is a lack of systematic methods that identify and assess the risks of online social transparency. In this paper, we present a method to identify and evaluate these within enterprises. We present the method’s workflow, stakeholders, the novel artefacts and techniques devised to use and the outcomes to produce. We evaluate our proposed method by applying it in a real organisational context and assess applicability, efficiency, and effectiveness in identifying risks and supporting managers in risk assessment. The results showed that the method gives a framework of thinking and analysis and helps recognize and identify risks in a specialized manner.
